PRAGATI Scholarship 2022, AICTE Pragati Scholarship Scheme for Girls (Degree & Diploma) for Technical Education 2022 through www.scholarships.gov.in / www.aicte-india.org. Government of India under All India Council For Technical Education (AICTE) is responsible for Scholarships for Girls under Pragati Scheme. The candidates should have admitted to 1st Year of the Degree or Diploma programme in any of the AICTE approved institute during the academic year 2022 through centralized admission process of the State / Central Government are eligible for applying.. Only One Girl per Family, where the Family income is less than Rs.6 Lakh per Year are eligible for applying. AICTE Pragati Scholarship 2022 amount of Scholarship is Rs.3000 (Tuition Fee) or actual, whichever is less and Rs.200 per month for 10 months as incidentals each year. AICTE Pragati Scholarship:

Pragati is a scheme of AICTE aimed at providing assistance for Advancement of Girls participation in Technical Education. Education is one of the most important means of empowering women with the knowledge, skill and self confidence necessary to participate fully in the development process. This is an attempt to give every young women the opportunity to further her education and prepare for a successful future by empowering Women through Technical Education.

Eligibility Criteria:

The candidates should have been admitted to 1st year of the Degree or Diploma programme in any of the AICTE approved institute during the academic year 2022 through centralized admission process of the State / Central Government.

One Girl per Family, where the family income is less than Rs.6 Lakh per Annual.

Reservation of Seats:

Scholarship seat reservation is 15% for SC, 7.5 for ST and 27% for OBC candidates/ applicant.

Out of the total number of scholarship in each scheme, 50% scholarship are available at each Degree / Diploma level also transferable in the event of non availability of eligible applicant in any of the of Degree / Diploma level Programme.

Required Documents:

1. Copies of Mark Sheet of Standard 10th / 12th / Others as applicable.
2. Copy of Annual Family Income Certificate for the financial year 2022 in the prescribed format issued by the Tahsildar or Higher officer.
3. Copy of Admission Letter to Diploma / Degree Course.
4. Copy of Tuition fee receipt.
5. Copy of Bank Pass Book showing name of the Student, Account number, IFSC Code and Photograph.
6. Copy of Student PAN Card (If available).
7. Copy of Aadhaar Card (if Available).
8. Certificate issued by the Director / Principal / Head of the Institute.
9. Declaration by Parents.

Guidelines for filling the Online Scholarship Application:

• Aadhaar Number has been made Optional. Students not having Aadhar number can register with Enrollment ID or Bank Pass Book for Academic Session 2022
• Applicants are advised to go through the Information Bulletin carefully and acquaint themselves with all requirements in respect to fill up the scholarship form on national Scholarship Portal 2022
• It will be the sole responsibility of the applicant to make sure that he / she is eligible to apply and fulfills all the condition prescribed for the scholarship.
• If in eligibility of the applicant is detected at any stage, before or after the applying for scholarship scheme, or during any stage by verification by authorities, his / her scholarship will be cancelled without any notice. Disciplinary action will be taken against him / he. further he / she will be blacklisted to opt for scholarship sponsored by Central Government for period of Five Years.
• Applicant must check that all details provided by him / her are correct before final submission as there will be no provision to edit details thereafter.
• Mod of submission of application for scholarship will be online and no other mode for the same will be entertained.
• Titles / Labels marked as are compulsory in application.

Application Procedure (As New Applicant):

1. Online submission of application for can be done through the website www.scholarships.gov.in in any of the internet access point.
2. Click on Apply for Fresh on Home Page.
3. Fill the details and Click on Registration.
4. After successfully get registration done, Applicants will get their Student Registration ID.
5. Through Student Registration ID, applicants will be able to Log in into the Account.
6. After Successful Log in to the Portal, Welcome Page Appeared.
7. On Clicking "Application Form" Icon, Applicants will direct to the Application screen as shown below.
8. The Application Form contains three important segments of information as mentioned below - Registration Details, Academic Details & Basic Details.
9. On Clicking Save & Continue, Next page appeared. This section of Application Form is also devided into three important segments of information as mentioned below - Contact Details, Scheme DEtails & Upload Documents.
10. On Clicking "Final Submission" application is finally submitted.

Guidelines for Filling the Online Renewal of Scholarship:

• Those Student who are already got the scholarship form NSP portal, need not required to Register again. They have to login with their last year Application ID and Password to renew their Online application for this academic year.
• All applicant applying for renewing scholarship application, are required to update their Aadhar Number and Mobile Number.
• Applicants are advised to go through the Information Bulletin carefully and acquaint themselves with all requirements in respect to fill up the Renewal Scholarship Form on National Scholarship Portal 2022.
• It will be the sole responsibility of the applicant to make sure that he / she is eligible to apply and fulfills all the condition prescribed for the Re-scholarship.
• In in eligibility of the applicant is detected at any stage, before or after the applying for Scholarship scheme, or during any stage by verification by authorities, His / her scholarship will be cancelled without any notice. Disciplinary action will be taken against him / her, further he / she will be blacklisted to opt for scholarship sponsored by Central Government for period of Five (5) years.

Application Procedure (As Renewal Applicant):

1. For applying online Renewal, applicants visit the website www.scholarships.gov.in in any of the internet access point.
2. Click on 'Apply for Renewal' on Home Page.
3. Login using your Registered Email ID & Password.
4. After successful login, welcome page appeared.
5. On clicking Renew Application, applicant will direct to Renewal Screen as shown below. Required D Details / Documents are compulsory required to be filled - Aadhar / Enrollment ID / bank Passbook, Mobile Number, Previous Class marks (%), Admission Fee, Tuition Fees, Misc Fees.
6. After adding all the required date, Click "Save & Continue" to view next page.
7. On Clicking "Final Submission" Application is finally submitted.
