Banarhat Kartik Oraon Hindi Government College:

The College was established in the year 2014. The Hindi medium college, the first of its kind in West Bengal. At present the College under the University of North Bengal.

Details of Course:

B.A. Honours in - English, Hindi, History, Philosophy, Political science.

Eligibility Criteria:

For honours Courses candidates should fulfil the following criteria, (i) 55% in aggregate or 50% in aggregate with 60% in the subject opted for Honours. For candidates from SC/ST category should fulfil the following criteria for honours courses 45% in aggregate with 60% in the subject opted for Honours or BA General candidates scoring 40% and above in aggregate can apply.

Seat Reservation:

Reservation of seats for SC, ST, OBC A, OBC B and Physically Challenged candidates will be accordance to the existing rules of the Government of West Bengal. A Certificate from the competent authority must be produced during counselling for calming such reservation. Candidates Having all cast & Category certificate issued by the states other than West Bengal will be treated as General Category for Admission.

Application Fee:

Candidates can apply for maximum of three BA (Honours) Subject and BA General through a single application. But they have to specifically mention their preferences. The students ahall be charged Rs 200/- for the application.

Merit List:

Merit list shall be published as on the dates notified by the college. Candidates are requested  to keep checking the website for any changes in dates due to unforeseen circumstances.

Counselling:

Students Must have bring the print copy of the Application form, Application fee receipt, Madhyamik Admit card, Madhyamik & H.S mark sheet (Original & Xerox Copy),  Character Certificate form last attendant school, Cast Certificate, Physically challenged Certificate, or all equlivent papers wherever applicable along with all original to the college during verification of Documents, counselling for approval to admission.

1. Application Form.
2. Two passport size photographs.
3. One stamp size photograph (for college identity card).
4. Standard 10th (Madhyamik) Admit Card.
5. Standard 12th (Higher Secondary) Mark sheet.
6. Standard 12th (Higher Secondary) Pass Certificate.
7. Transfer / Character Certificate from School last attended.
8. Blood Group Certificate.
9. SC/ ST/ OBC-A/ OBC-B/ PH certificate where applicable. Certificate should be issued by Competent Authority.

10. Migration Certificate, if passed from any other board other than WBCHSE.
11. One self attested photocopy of all documents shall be submitted at the college.
