Bankura Sammilani College:

Established on the 1st September 1948 by the Bankura Sammilani Registered Society, a social service organization, with the noble & prudent vision of propagating higher education among the people of Bankura and neighboring district. The College has been accredited by the National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC) in 2007 as the first one in the district and is undergoing reformation in all infra and structural facilities. Details of Course:

B.A. Honors in - Bengali, English, History, Political Science, Sanskrit. Geography, Philosophy

B.Sc. Honors in - Botany, Chemistry, Computer Science, Economics, Mathematics, Micro- Biology, Nutrition, Physic, Zoology.

B.Com Honors in - Accountancy.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who have passed H.S or its equivalent examination (10+2) from WBCHSE / NIOS / IGNOU / ICSE / CBSE / Rabindra Mukta Vidyalaya, / Netagi Subhas open University  or other boards / councils recognized by the university of Burdwan in 2022 are eligible for application.

Student passing 10+2 level with Vocational Engineering and Technology / Vocational Business and Commerce may apply for admission to this college for the Session 2022 in appropriate undergraduate.

Seat Reservation:

Reservation of seats for SC,ST, OBC A, OBC B, Physical Challenged candidate will be accordance to the existing rules of the Government of West Bengal. A Certificate from the competent authority must be produced during counselling for claiming such reservation. No Application will be allowed to take advantage of more than one quota of reservation. Candidates having SC / ST / OBC A/ OBC B certificate issued by the states other than West Bengal be treated having as general category for admission.

Application Fee:

The application will be consider invalid without payment of application fee (including Bank Transaction Charge) to the bank of Account of college either Online (Trough Debit Card / Credit Card) or Offline (through Bank Challan ).

Merit List:

The merit list of valid application will be published online website of college on date as per the published admission scheduled, The merit list lists will be prepared in the descending order of mrerit index. In case of a tie, Precedence will be given to higher subject marks, wherever applicable.

Counselling:

Student must have bring the print copy of the application Form, Application free receipt, Madhymik  Admit Card, Madhymik & H.S mark sheet, Character Certificate, Cast Certificate, Physical Handicap Certificate or all equivalent papers wherever applicable along with all original to the college during Verification of documents, Counselling for approval to admission.
