Berhampor Girls College:

Berhampore Girls College was established in 1946. It is the first government sponsored college in the state of West Bengal. The institution was founded by Smt. Amiyo Rao, an eminent scholar and wife of the then District Collector Sri B.G.Rao, as asset for the advancement of women's education and uplift in this predominantly agricultural and backward belt of the state. Smt. Rao was the first principal of this institution and was succeeded by Smt. Preeti Gupta, who became an institution in the field of women's education & upliftment.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who have passed H.S or its equivalent examination (10+2) from WBCHSE / NIOS / IGNOU / ICSE / ISC / CBSE / Rabindra Mukta Vidyalaya / Netaji Open University or others Board / Councils recognized by the University of Burdwan in 2022 are eligible for application.

Students passing 10+2 level with Vocational Course may apply for admission to this college for the session 2022 in appropriate undergraduate.

Seat Reservation:

Reservation of seats for SC, ST, OBC A, OBC B & Physically Challenged candidates will be accordance to the existing rules of the Government of West Bengal. A Certificate from the Competent authority must be produced during counselling for claiming such reservation. No application will be  allowed to take advantage of more than one quota of reservation. Candidates having SC / ST / OBC A / OBC B / certificate issued by the states other than West Bengal will be treated as General category for Admission.

Application Fee:

The application will be considered invalid without payment of application fee (including Bank transaction Charge) to the Bank of Account of College either Online (through Debit Card & Credit card) or offline Bank Challan.

Merit List:

The Merit List of valid applicants will be published online website of college on date as per the published admission scheduled, the Merit List lists will be prepared in the descending order of merit index. In Case of a tie, precedence will be given to higher subject marks, wherever applicable.

Counselling:

Students Must have bring the print copy of the application Form, Application Fee receipt, madhyamik Admit Card, Madhyamik & HS mark sheet (Original & Xerox Copy), Character Certificate Form last attendant School, Caste certificate, Physically Handicapped Certificate or all equivalent papers wherever applicable along with all original to the college during Verification of Documents, counselling for approval to admission.

2. Receipt of payment of Rs. 100/-.
3. Proof of date of birth (e.g. Admit Card of M.P. or equivalent).
