Eligibility Criteria :
Candidates (both Fresh & Deputed) with at least 50% marks either in the bachelor Degree (50% marks in Bachelor Degree means 50% aggregate marks in Honours and Elective Subjects) or in Master Degree in Science or Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and mathematics with 55% marks, or any other qualification equivalent thereto, be eligible for application. There shall be relaxation of 5% marks in Favour of SC, ST and PH categories.

Seats Distribution :
Total No. of 50 Seats is available for Admission (25 Seats for Freshers Candidates & Others 25 Seats for Deputed Candidates).

Age Limit :
Age of the Fresh candidates as on 202 shall not exceed 38 years and there shall be relaxation of 5 years in favour of PH candidates.

Seat Reservation :
22% Seats & 6% Seats of Total Seats shall be kept reserved for SC & ST candidates (Both DEputed & Fresh) respectively. As per Government order Ratio of Home University students and Other University Students shall be 80 : 20.

Course Fees :
Total fee for pursuing this Course in the  Self-financed Colleges is Rs. 60,000/- (including University Examination Fee Rs. 1000 for 1st & 2nd semester) per annum both for Deputed & Fresh Candidates of which Rs. 30,000/- will be paid at the time of admission and the rest (i.e. Rs. 30,000/-) will be paid in six (6) equal installments starting from the month of September every year. Note that total course fee for 2-years is Rs. 1,20,000/- per student.

B.Ed Application Form Submission :
Applications forms shall be made available on the Website of Burdwan University www.buruniv.ac.in on and from 2022.
Before submitting applications forms, candidates must ensure that have carefully entered their details information. After filling the form, the candidates must ensure that have carefully entered their details information. 
After successful online Form submission candidates required to pay Application Fee of Rs.500 through Online (using Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking Facility) or Offline (E-Challan in SBI Cash Counter). Details of Process for Applications will be available shortly.

Selection Process :
For Deputed candidates of all categories provisional Rank list shall be prepared on the basic of their Approval length of Service. In case of Same length of Service. In case of same length of service of two or more candidates, 2nd and 3rd criteria shall be academic Score and Date of Birth respectively.

For Fresh Candidates of all categories subject wise provisional Rank list shall be prepared on  the basic of their Grade points to be computed as per the following norms. Details given in official Advertisement.

Registration / Restoration Fees : Rs. 200/-

8. Certificate of M.Phil/ Ph.D.
9. Mark sheet and Certificate of NCTE Recognized Programme.
10. Burdwan University Registration Certificate (applicable for BU students).
11. Caste Certificate / PWD Certificate.
12. Joining Letter and Experience Certificate.
13. Adhaar Card (as the case may be).
