Eligibility Criteria with Seat Capacity:
Applications are invited for admission into the following Post Graduate course under above facilities from the 3 Year B.Sc / BA Honours or its equivalent Graduates of University of Calcutta and Autonomous Colleges and Other University Graduating not earlier than 2022 are eligible.

Rules for Admission:
60% of total seat in each course be earmarked for Calcutta University (C.U) students only. This 60% of total seat be termed as Part A seat in each course. All the current year CU and CU Autonomous College Honours Graduates will be considered as Part A.
Rest 40% total seat in each course be earmarked for both Non CU and CU candidates. This 40% of total seat should be termed as Part-B Seat in each course.

Selection Procedure:
For Group A category - Admission is strictly in order of merit, judged on the basic of percentage of marks secured in Honours subject and in case of a tie, the aggregate of marks in general subjects are taken into consideration for all courses except those specially mentioned below. A Draft Merit List for Part A where no entrance Test held of the candidates graduates from the CU and CU Autonomous College (S) in the current year, will be published after the last date of submission of application Form.
For Group B Category - Group wise Entrance Test for Non CU and CU applicants for selection in 40% of total seats will be held. Each Entrance Test will be of one hour duration except few specially mentioned. Full marks for each entrance test will be of 100 marks except few specially mentioned.

Application Fees:
Application Fees is Rs.100 (for General and others candidate) and Rs.50 (for SC / ST / PWD candidates) for each group of application. All payments of Application Fee to be deposit through SB Collect (www.onlinesbi.com). Bank Charge extra to be borne by the candidate.
Payment through online mode (using Credit Card / Debit Card / Net Banking) or Offline Payment Mode (Bank Challan in Cash Counter).

Candidates are advised to read the instructions carefully before starting the process of online application.
Candidates must kept a hard-copy (print out) of the submission application form and a receipt of Challan (Application Fee) to be downloaded from Payment History of State Bank Collect and other relevant documents signed by the candidate in each pages of documents & form. All these document to be submitted for verification when called for in notice.

Check List before submission of Printed Copy of Application:
Applicants must submit self attested copies of -
Mark Sheets of all examination passed (from 10 standard onwards).
Certificate / Admit Card of 10th Level as proof of Date of Birth.
SC / ST / OBC A / OBC B / PWD certificate, claimed for in the application.
Experience certificate, claimed for in the application (if applicable).
Copy of Aadhar Card.
E-Receipt downloaded from 'State Bank Collect' 'Payment History' after deposition of application fee.
Acknowledgement Slip (Generated by Computer).
Candidate must sign on each of the testimonials submitted.
Separate sets of testimonials have to submitted for each group of Application.

Submission of Printed Copy pf Application Forms:
Candidates must keep a hard-copy (print out) of the submitted application form and e-receipt of Challan (Application Fee) to be downloaded from payment history of State Bank Collect along with all relevant testimonials signed by the candidates in all pages and from for each group.

Entrance Test & Hall Ticket:
Group wise Entrance Test for Non CU and CU applicants will be held.
A common Entrance Test will be held for the groups 8, 9, 16, 17, 18, 22, 24.
Each Entrance Test will be of one hour duration except few specially mentioned. Full marks of Entrance test will be of 100 marks except few specially mentioned. Number of questions in each test will be of 50 and each question should have four options of answers of which one will be correct answer. For each correct answer scoring will be 10+2 marks and negative marking of 0.5 marks for each wrong answer and for no try there will be 0 marks.
Selection for 40% (Part B) of such seat in each course will be made on the basic of marks obtained in the entrance test only. If there is a tie of marks obtained in the written entrance test amoungst the candidates then the candidates with less negative marking will be placed in higher position in the merit list than the other candidate.
