About Chatra Ramai Pandit Mahavidyalaya:

On the 1st March, 2001 the Chatra Ramai Pandit Mahavidyalaya was established in Chatra Village, Kotulpur Block of Bankura District. The budding institution is the fruit of industry given by some local education enthusiasts who sacrificed their valuable time in raising contributions from people of various ranks and classes belonging to the locality with the aim of providing higher education to students of a region neglected and backward, many of whom were first generation learners. The institution started in a single building with only seven students. Gradually, with aids from the State Government & Local Bodies the building expanded with own laboratory and library facilities. Presently it has area of 11.3 acres with Two storied building, it has a playground flanked on all sides by Eucalyptus trees.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidate who have passed H.S or its equivalent examination (10+2) from WBCHSE / NIS / IGNOU / ICSE / ISC /CBSE / Rabindra Mukta Vidyalaya / Netaji Subhas Open University or other boards / councils recognized by the university of Burdwan in 2022 are eligible for application.

Student passing 10+2 level with Vocational Engineering and Technology / Vocational Agriculture / Vocational Business and Commerce may apply for admission to this college for the session of  2022 in appropriate undergraduate.

Seat Reservation:

Reservation of seats for SC / ST / OBC A & B / Physical Handicap candidate will be accordance to the existing rules of the government of West Bengal. A Certificate from the Competent authority must be produced during Counseling for claiming such reservation. No application will be allowed to take advantage of more than one quota of reservation. Candidate having SC / ST / OBC A & B certificate issued by the state other than West Bengal will be defeated as general Category for admission.
