City College of Commerce & Business Administration:

The City College Commerce Department came up in 1939 in response to the large-scale demand among the youth of the time for quality university education in commerce. In 1940, a Commercial Bureau was set up and in 1945 the Department of Commerce and Business Administration was formally organised.

Details of Course:

B.Com Honours in - Accounting & Finance.

B.Com General in - Accounting & Finance.

B.Com. Honours Stream - 750 seat
B.Com. General Stream - 150 seat

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who have passed H.S or its equivalent examination 10+2 form WBCHSE or others Board / Council recognised by Calcutta university in 2022 are eligible for application. Students passing 10+2 level with vocational course may apply for admission to this college for the session 2022 in appropriate undergraduate.

Seat Reservation:

The college has 900 seats at the start of the academic session for the new entrants. Out of this 750 seats are reserved fore candidates applying for the Honours Course and 150 seats are reserved for General Course candidates. 22% of the seats are reserved for the SC Candidates and 6% for the OBC candidates.

Application Fee:

The tuition fees for the students taking up Honours as their course of study are Rs. 85/- per month & General Course of study the fees are Rs. 65/- per month. At the Time admission, Course Fees (including Tution Fees for 1 year) for Hons candidates are fixed at 4,410/- and General Students 4,170/-.

Merit List:

The Merit list of valid applicants will be published online website of college on date as per the published admission scheduled., the Merit list will be prepared in the descending order of merit index. In case of a tie precedence will be given to higher subject marks.

Counselling:

Verification of required document of students admitted Counter part of the Bank Challan for admission fees, Print copy of Download Application form admission for the session 2022, All original Mark Sheet and Admit cards (Standard 10 and 10+2 or equivalent examination). Xerox copies of all mark sheet & admit cards, two copies Stamp Size Photo, Original certificate with photo from competent authorities for SC / ST / OBC and Physically disables candidates.
