The college is named after Rev. C.F. Andrews, a celebrated saint, philanthropist, a trustworthy friend of the downtrodden and a dedicated warrior of Indian Freedom Struggle. Dinabandhu Andrews College is located in Garia, South 24 Parganas and it is affiliated to the University of Calcutta. Dinabandhu Andrews College established in 1956.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates who have passed H.S or its equivalent examination 10+2 from WBCHSE / NIOS / IGNOU / ICSE / ISC / CBSE / Rabindra Mukta Vidyalaya / Netaji Open University or others Board / Council recognised by Calcutta University in 2022 are eligible for application.
Students passing 10+2 level vocational course may apply for admission to this college for session 2022 in appropriate undergraduate.
Seat Reservation:
Reservation of seats for SC, ST, OBC A, OBC B and Physically Challenged candidates will be accordance to the existing rules of the Government of West Bengal. A certificate from the competent authority must be produced during counselling for claiming such reservation. No application will be allowed to take advantage of more than one quota of reservation. Candidates having all cast & category certificate issued by the States other than West Bengal will be treated as General Category.
Application Fee:
The Application will be considered invalid without payment of application fee (Including Bank Transaction Charge) to the Bank of Account of College either Online (through Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking) or offline (Bank Challan).
Merit List:
The Merit list of valid application will be published online website of college on date as per the published admission scheduled, the Merit list lists will be prepared in the descending order of merit index. In case a tie, precedence will be given to higher subject marks, wherever applicable.
Counselling:
Students must have bring the print copy of Application from, Application fee receipt, Madhaymik Admit Card, Madhyamik & H.S mark sheet (Original & Xerox Copy), Character Certificate from last attendant school, Cast Certificate, Physical Handicapped Certificate, or all equivalent papers wherever applicable along with all original to the college during verification of documents Counselling for Admission.

1. Original Bank Receipts.
2. One self -attested photocopy of Admit Card of Madhyamik or equivalent Examination (for date of Birth).
3. One self attested photocopy H.S. Mark sheet.
4. One self-attested photocopy of H.S. Registration Certificate.
5. Two self-attested photocopy of Adhar Card, if available.
6. One self-attested photocopy of BPL/APL Card, if available Original Caste Certificate.
7. Late Fine Rs. 50.00.
