Domkal Girls College:

A General college was built in Basantpur which is far away from Domkal. Later, in view of the lack of development and infrastructure of girls education the Domkal Girls' College was established in 23rd February 2011 on 5 acres of land provided by the Government of West Bengal. On 23rd August 2014, the Honorable president of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee inaugurated the new building of this college.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who have passed H.S its equivalent examination (10+2) from WBCHSE / NIOS / IGNOU / ICSE / ISC / CBSE / Rabindra Mukta Vidyalaya / Netaji Open University or others Board / Council recognized by Kalyani University in 2022 are eligible for application.

Students passing 10+2 level with Vocational Course may apply for admission to this college for the session 2022 in appropriate undergraduate.

Seat Reservation:

Reservation of seats for SC, ST, OBC A, OBC B and Physically Challenged candidates will be accordance to the existing rules of the Government of West Bengal. A Certificate from the competent authority must be produced during counselling for claiming such reservation. No application will be allowed to take advantage of more than one quota of reservation.

Candidates having SC / ST / OBC A / OBC B certificated issued by the states other than West Bengal will be treated as general category for Admission.

Application Fee:

The Application will be considered invalid without payment of application fee (Including Bank transaction Charge ) to the Bank of account of College either Online (through Debit & Credit Card) or offline Bank Challan.

B.A. General - Rs. 1550/-

Merit List:

The Merit list valid applicants will be published online website of college on date as per the published admission scheduled, the Merit List lists will be prepared in the descending order of merit index. In case of a tie, precedence will be given to higher subject marks, wherever applicable.

Counselling:

Students Must have bring the print copy of the Application Form, Application Fee Receipt, Madhyamik Admit card, Madhyamik & HS mark sheet (Original & Xerox Copy), Character Certificate form last attendant school, Cast Certificate, Physically Handicapped Certificate or all equivalent paper wherever applicable along with all original to the college during Verification of Documents, Counselling for approval to admission.
