Dumkal College:

Dumkal College was founded on 21st September, 1999 after the inspection of University of Kalyani.

The College starts its functioning with a handful of students initiating their class in B.T. High School, Dumkal. However, today's picture is one of complete transformations. It is a Co-education college and it is the only institution within the locality which ran from the very beginning with all three streams-Arts, Science and commerce.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidatures who have passed H.S equivalent examination (10+2) from WBCHSE / NIOS / IGNOU / ICSE / ISC / CBSE / Rabindra Mukta Vidyalaya / Netaji Open University or others Board / Council recognized by University of Kalyani in 2022 are eligible for application.

Students passing 10+2 level with Vocational course may apply for admission to this college for the session 2022 in appropriate undergraduate.

Seat Reservation:

Reservation of seats for SC, ST, OBC A, OBC B & Physically Challenged candidates will be accordance to the existing rules of the Government of West Bengal. A Certificate from the competent authority Must be produced during counselling for claiming such reservation. No application will be allowed to take advantage of more than one quota of reservation. Candidates having SC / ST / OBC A / OBC B certificate issued by the states other than West Bengal will be treated as General category for Admission.

The Merit List of valid applicants will be published online website of college on date as per the published admission scheduled, the merit List lists will be prepared in the descending order of merit index. In Case of a tie, precedence will be given to higher subject marks, wherever applicable.

Students must have bring the print copy of the Application Form, Application Fee receipt, Madhyamik Admit Card, Madhyamik & HS mark sheet (Original & Xerox Copy), cast certificate, Character Certificate form last attendant School, Physically Handicapped Certificate or all equivalent papers wherever applicable along with all original to the college during Verification of documents, counselling for Approval to admission.
