Falakata College:

Falakata College was established on 19th September, 1981. Since then it has remained both in the field of Education and sports, as one of the important College of North Bengal. It is a Government aided Degree permanently College., affiliated to the University of North Bengal. The College is situated in Falakata, about 1 k.m away form National Highway 31.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who have passed H.S or its equlivent examination (10+2) from WBCHSE / NIOS / IGNOU / ICSE / ISC / CBSE / Rabindra Mukta Vidyalaya / Netaji Open University or others Board / Council recognized by North Bengal University in 2022 are eligible for application.

Students passing 10+2 level Vocational course may Apply for admission to this college for the session 2022 in appropriate undergraduate.

Seat Reservation:

Reservation of seats for SC, ST, OBC A, OBC B and Physically Challenged candidates will be accordance to the existing rules of the Government of west Bengal. A certificate from the competent authority must be produced during counselling for claiming such reservation. No application will be allowed to take advantage of more then one quota or reservation. Candidates having SC / ST / OBC A / OBC B certificate issued by the states other than West Bengal Will be treated as General Category for Admission.

Application Fee: 

The Application will be considered invalid without payment of application fee (Including Bank transaction Charge) to the Bank of account of College either Online (through Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking) or Offline (Bank Challan).

Merit List:

The merit List of valid applicants will be published online website of college on date as per the published admission scheduled, the Merit list lists will be prepared in the descending order of merit index. In case a tie, precedence will be given to higher subject marks, wherever applicable.

Counselling:

Students Must have bring the print copy of the Application Form, Application Fee Receipt, Madhyamik Admit card, Madhyamik & HS mark sheet (Original & Xerox copy), Character Certificate Form last attendant school, Cast certificate, Physically handicapped Certificate or all equivalent papers wherever applicable along with all original to the college during Verification of documents, Counselling for approval to admission.

Documents Required, At The Time of Admission :
1. Qualification Certificate - One attested copy of the Mark sheet of 10+2 examination.
2. Character Certificate - A testimonial in original from the head of institution last attended.
3. Caste Certificate - Original certificate of the SC / ST applicants to be produced (along with two copies of the caste certificate) at the time of admission in case of reserved seats.
4. Physically Handicapped Certificate - The candidate under the physically handicapped category must furnish pphysically handicapped certificate from the competent authority at the time of admission.
5. Two copied of recent passport size photograph (Not Attested).
