Admission Fee Structure:

UGB (Main Campus) Per Semester - Rs.2800 (for Lab Based Subject) / Rs.1800 (for Non lab Based Subject). Rs.200 in addition will be charged for Registration from the students of Other University.

Malda College (Pg Department) - As will be fixed by the concern College authority.

Balurghat College - As will be fixed by the Concerned College authority.

Seat Reservation:

60:40 be maintained respectively for the Home University Students only & open for both the Home & Other University students.

Students passed out in 2022 may be allowed for admission on the basic of merit subject to dedication of 5% of marks for each year.

Reservation ration is SC students 22%, ST students 6%, OBC A students 10%, OBC B students 7% and PH / PC students 3% be strictly maintained as per Government rules.

Selection will be made strictly on merit on the basic of marks obtained by the candidate in Honours / Major Subjects.

Required Documents at the Time of Counselling:

All candidates are required to produce all original certificates, Mark Sheets and Testimonials for verification at the time of counselling and Admission. Candidate is to be present himself / herself for proper verification of the Photograph affixed with the application form. The required documents list is given below.

Process for Checking Merit List:

Gour Banga University PG Merit list will be prepared on the basic marks obtained in the Graduation level. separate merit list will be prepared as per (60% seats reservation) & (40% Seat reservation). The date of commencement of classes will be notified due time.

Admission shall be treated as cancelled if a student fails to attend 50% of classes during the First Fifteen teaching days from the Commencement of Classes.

Every student shall be strictly bound by the University Act, Statues, Ordinance, Rules & regulation for prosecution of the respective course.

As per UGC rules, a student shall have to attended at least 75% of the classes and tutorials held in a semester for appearing in the Semester End Examination.

Affidavits be made by the student and by his / her parent for Anti Ragging declaration.
