Chapra Government College was set up at Mouza-Shikra, J.L. No.-23 vide G.O. No. 972—Edn (A)/10M-9/13 on the 2022, in the village of Shikra under the Chapra Administrative Block. Being located at a point where students from the adjoining villages (viz. Haatkhola, Mahakhola, Ranabandh and Gongra) can easily commute to, the college provides an excellent opportunity for higher education to the relatively disadvantaged demography of the region.

Eligibility Criteria:
Candidates who have passed H.S or its equivalent examination (10+2) from WBCHSE / NIOS / IGNOU / ICSE / ISC / CBSE / Rabindra Mukta Vidyalaya / Netaji Open University or others Board / Council recognized by Kalyani University in 2022 are eligible for application.
Students passing 10+2 level with Vocational course may apply for admission to this college for the session 2022 in appropriate undergraduate.
Seat Reservation:
Reservation of seats for SC, ST, OBC A, OBC B and Physically Challenged candidates will be accordance to the existing rules of the Government of West Bengal. A Certificate from the competent authority must be produced during counselling for claiming such reservation. No application will be allowed to take advantage of more than West Bengal will be treated as General category for Admission.

The application will be considered invalid without payment of application fee (Including Bank Transaction Charge) to the Bank of Account of College either Online (through Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking) or offline (Bank Challan).

The Merit List of valid applicants will be published online website of college on date as per the published admission scheduled, the Merit List lists will be prepared in the descending order of merit index. In case of a tie, precedence will be given to higher subject marks, wherever applicable.

students must have bring the Print copy of the Application Fee, Application Fee receipt, Madhyamik Admit card, Madhyamik & HS mark sheet (Original & Xerox Copy), Character certificate form last attendant school, Cast certificate, Physically Challenged Certificate or all equivalent papers wherever applicable along with all original to the college during Verification of documents, counselling for approval to admission.
