Jalpaiguri Law College:

Jalpaiguri law College a pioneering Law College was founded on 14th September 1981 with the objective of promoting quality legal education is the said region. It is the only Law College in the District and its neighbouring District of Coochbehar. It is situated in the heart of the town of Jalpaiguri, West Bengal.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who have passed (10+2) level examination from a recognised Board. Candidates Obtained 45% marks in aggregate of equivalent grade in qualifying examination, S.C, ST may be eligible to apply if they secured at least  40% marks or equivalent grade in the qualifying examination. Candidates Shall not to be above 20 years of age as on 1st July 2022. Two years age relaxation is available to ST & ST candidates.

Seat Reservation:

Reservation of seats for SC, ST, OBC and Physically Challenged candidates will be accordance to the existing rules of the Government of west Bengal. No application will be allowed to take advantage of more then one quota of reservation. Candidates having SC / ST / OBC certificate issued by the states other than West Bengal Will be treated as General Category for Admission.

Application fee:

The Application will be considered invalid without payment of application fee (Including Bank Transaction Charge) to the Bank of Account of College either Online (through Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking) or Offline (Bank Challan).

Merit List:

The Merit list of valid applicants will be published online website of college on date as per the published admission scheduled, the Merit list lists will be prepared in the descending order of merit index. In case a tie, precedence will be given to higher subject marks, wherever applicable.

Counselling:

Students Must have Bring the print copy of the Application form, Application Fee Receipt, 10+2 level examination pass certificate, Character Certificate form last attendant school, Cast Certificate, Physically Challenged Certificate or all equlivent papers wherever applicable along with all original to the college during Verification of Documents, Counselling for approval to Admission.
