Jogesh Chandra Chaudhury College :

In 1964 at the instance and initiative of Late Ranadeb Chaudhuri and with active co-operation of some eminent educationist and persons of public spirit, who formed the first Governing Body of this college. The College started functioning from June 1965 as a co-educational institution.

Eligibility Criteria:

Admission forms will be available online as per CU guidelines and its submission too will be only Online. Candidates who have passed H.S or its equivalent examination 10+2 form WBCHSE or Others Board / Council recognised by Calcutta University in 2022 are eligible for application. Students passing 10+2 level vocational course may apply for admission to this college for the session 2022 in appropriate undergraduate.

Seat Reservation:

Reservation of seats for SC / St / OBC A / OBC B and Physically Challenged candidates will be accordance to the existing rules of the Government of West Bengal. A Certificate from the competent authority must be produced during counselling for claiming such reservation. No application will be allowed to take advantage of more than one quota of reservation. Candidates having all cast & category certificate  issued by the states other than West Bengal Will be treated as General category for Admission.

Application Fee:

The Payment has to be made through the Axis Bank, Prince Anwar Shah Road Branch. Jogesh Chandra Chowdhury College don't make any financial transactions in the College office.

Counselling:

Students Must have bring the print copy of the Application Form, Application fee receipt, Madhyamik Admit card, Madhyamik & HS mark sheet (Original & Xerox Copy), Character Certificate form last attendant school, Cast Certificate,Physically Handicapped Certificate or all equivalent papers wherever applicable along with all original to the college during Verification of documents , counselling for approval to admission.
