Details of Course:
Online Applications are invited from Graduates of recognised Universities for admission to the B.P.Ed Course for the session 2022. The duration of Course is 2 Year (4 Semester).

Admission in 2 year B.P.Ed Course in -
University of Kalyani, Department of Physical Education - 50 Seats.
Sunil Dhar Memorial B.P.Ed College, Panchthupi, Murshidabad - 50 seats.
Prabharani Institute of Education (Physical Education College) Chanak, Murshidabad - 50 seats.

Eligibility Criteria:
Bachelor Degree in Physical Education with 45% marks or Bachelor degree in any discipline with 45% marks and studied physical education as compulsory, elective subject.
Bachelor degree in discipline with 50% marks and having at least participation in the Inter College / Inter Zonal / District / School competition in sports and games as recognised by the AIU / IOA / SGFI / Govt. of India.
Graduation with 45% marks and at least three years of teaching experience  (for deputed in service candidates).    

Age Limit & Physical Fitness:
Candidates should posses good physique, sound health and must be proficient in games and sports . Candidates should not be above 30 years as on 1st July 2017. However the may be relaxed up to 32 years for the candidates with exceptional achievement in games and sports.

Admission Procedure:
Admission Test will comprise of a practical test followed by a written test and Viva Voce.
Qualifying marks for Practical & Written Test are 30%. Candidates who do not qualify in the Practical Test will not be eligible to appear for the Written Test & Viva Voce.
Candidates will be required to appear in Six Practical Test items.

Application Fees:
Candidates required to pay application fee of Rs.300 (for General Candidates) or Rs.150 (for SC / ST Candidates). Pay application fee through Online (using Credit Card / Debit Card / Net banking Facility) or Offline (Bank Challan).

Merit List:
The Merit List of valid applicants will be published online website of college on date as per the published admission scheduled, the merit list will be prepared in the descending order in merit index. In case of tie, percentage will be given to higher subject marks, wherever applicable.
