St. Xavier's College:

A Christian Minority Higher Educational Institution, St. Xavier's was founded in 1860 by a Catholic Minority Religious body, the Society of Jesus, and was affiliated to Calcutta University in 1862. Eligibility Criteria:

Students having passed Higher Secondary (10+2) may apply for any or as many courses of their choice indicated below provided they fulfil the eligibility for admission. Sc, St, Economically challenged, Physically challenged, outstanding sports persons, NCC Cadets and School administered by the Calcutta Province of the Society of Jesus.
Minimum percentage of marks for application to Honours courses - 50%
Minimum percentage of marks for application for SC, ST and Christians - 45%
The student must have passed in all the papers as per the respective board/council pass marks.
The student must have obtained 45% marks in each of the 4 subjects included in the aggregate calculation.

Application Fee:

The Application will be considered invalid without payment of application fee (including bank Transaction Charge) to the Bank of Account of College either Online (through Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking) or offline (Bank challan).

Admission Fee :
Bengali, History and B.Com (Honours) - Rs. 1700/-

Merit List:

The Merit List of valid applicants will be published online website of college on date as per the published admission scheduled, the Merit lists list will be prepared in the descending order of merit index. In case a tie, precedence will be given to higher subject marks wherever applicable.

Counselling:

Students Must have bring the print copy of the Application form, Application fee receipt, Madhyamik Admit card, Madhyamik & HS mark sheet (original & Xerox Copy), Charterer Certificate form last attendant school, Casts Certificate, Physically Challenged Certificate or all equivalent papers wherever applicable along with all original to the College during verification of documents Counselling for approval to admission.
