Shyamaprasad Institute of Education & Training:

Syamaprasad College, Kolkata, for augmentation of Technological Education and allied social services in the States of West Bengal. The SIET had started with the recognition and approval from NCTE and affiliation from Calcutta University since 2008-09 sessions. The institute came into existence with its auspicious inauguration on August 9, 2007.

Eligibility Criteria:

Fresher General Candidates with minimum 50% marks in UG or PG level can apply

Fresher SC / ST Candidates with minimum 45% marks in UG & PG level can apply

Deputed Candidates having 2 years of experience in Government Aided / Government Sponsored can apply.

Admission Procedure:

Admission to 2 year B.Ed Programme will be restricted to candidates who had applied online to C.U and whose names have been forwarded by C.U to the College on the basis of merit. At first the candidates who have given first preference for admission to this College will be considered first. Then the candidates opting 2nd preference, and lastly candidates opting for 3rd preference may be considered for admission.

Application Fee:

The Application will be considered invalid without payment of application fee (Including bank transaction charge) to the Bank of Account of College either Online (through Debit Card / Credit card / Net Banking) or offline (Bank Challan).

Merit List:

The Merit list of valid applicants will be published online website of college on date as per the published admission scheduled, the Merit list lists will be prepared in the descending order of merit index. In case of tie precedence will be given to higher subject marks wherever applicable.
