Vivekananda College:

Vivekananda College was established in 1985. It is  exemplary that people belonging to different strata of the society donated money to raise funds for the establishment of the college. The college land was donated by Sri Ramkrishna Ashram, Alipurduar Janction. The foundation of the college is marked by the earnest desire of various eminent personalities and association top remote higher education in the locality.

B.A. Honours in - Bengali, English, Political Science, History, Education, Philosophy.

Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates who have passed H.S or its equlivent examination (10+2) from WBCHSE / NIOS / IGNOU/ ICSE / ISC / CBSE / Rabindra Mukta Vidyalaya / Netaji Open University or others Board / Council recognised by North Bengal University in 2022 are eligible for application.

Students passing 10+2 level with Vocational course may Apply for admission to this college for the session 2022 in appropriator undergraduate.

Seat Reservation:

Reservation of seats for SC, ST, OBC A, OBC B and Physically Challenged candidates will be accordance to the existing rules of the Government of West Bengal. A Certificate from the competent authority must be produced during counselling for claiming such reservation. No application will be allowed to take advantage of more than one quota of reservation. Candidates having SC / ST / OBC A / OBC B certificate issued by the states other than West Bengal will be treated as General category for Admission.

Application Fee:

The Application will be considered invalid without payment of application fee (Including Bank transaction Charge) to the Bank of Account of College either Online (through Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking) or Offline (Bank Challan).

Merit List:

The Merit list of valid applicants will be published online website of college on date as per the published admission scheduled, the Merit List lists will be prepared in the descending order of merit index. In case a tie, precedence will be given to higher subject marks, wherever applicable.

Counselling:

Students Must have bring the print copy of the Application Form, Application fee receipt, Madhyamik Admit Card, Madhyamik & HS mark sheet (Original & Xerox Copy), Character Certificate form last attendant school, Cast certificate or all equivalent papers wherever applicable along with all original to the college during Verification of documents, Counselling for approval to admission.

3. Madhyamik Admit Card/ Certificate or Age Proof Certificate.
