Selection Process:

Selection of Candidates will be based on a Written Examination. Written Examination have total 85 marks & Time Time allotted for this Exam is 1 Hours 30 minutes. Written Examination is Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) type examination. Details of Syllabus is given below.

Scheme of Written Exam Examination:
The Written Examination will have 85 Multiple Choice (Four Choice) Objective Type Questions (MCQs) carrying 1 mark each. The duration of the examination will be One and a Half Hours (90 Minutes). Question in the Written Examination shall be in the following subject (of Class VIII Standard of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education)

General Studies - 40 marks (40 Questions).
Language Paper (Bengali / Nepali / Hindi / Urdu) - 10 marks (10 Questions).
Elementary Mathematics - 35 Questions (35 Question).

There will be no negative marking for any wrong answer. The question paper for General Studies and Mathematics will be in English an Bengali, but the Answers will have to be filled up correctly in OMR Sheet. The qualifying marks in the Written examination will be fixed by the West Bengal Group D Recruitment Board.
