Selection Procedure:

Candidates will be selected on the basic of total marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology (whichever is higher) at the High Secondary (10+2) Examination (General Stream) or equivalent examination as approved by the Pharmacy Council of India. Candidates have to separately pass both the theory and practical examination in physics and chemistry.

Seats Reservation:

Seats will be reserved for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes and other Backward Classes (Noon Creamy Layer) and also for Physically Handicapped candidates as per existing rules of Government of West Bengal. Admission to the PH candidates is subject to verification and approval by the Central Medical Board Kolkata. Candidates should carry the original and photocopy of caste / physically handicapped certificates issued by the competent authority.
Four candidates nominated by the GTA Darjeeling will be admitted in the Institute of Pharmacy Jalpaiguri subject to approval of Department of Health & Family Welfare, Govt of West Bengal 

Hostel Faculty:

There is limited number of seats, available in the three Institutions for male students only

Attachment with Application:
Hard copy of the filled up application along with all document (original and photocopy) to be produced by the candidates at the time of counselling 2022
Candidates to produce the residential certificate issued by the competent authority (viz (MP / MLA / Member of Zilla Parishad / Sabhapati of Panchayat Samiti / Commission of Municipality / Councilor / Prodhan of Gram Panchayat / BDO of the area / any officer or above the Rank of Assistant Secretary to the Government of West Bengal etc.) as per existing rules / norms of Government of West Bengal.
Students must also submit supporting documents (Aadhar Card / Voter Card / Passport) in original and self attested photocopy for verification at the time of counselling.
Candidates to produce the original medical (Physical & Mental) fitness certificate from a Registered Medical Practitioner and a certificate from a Registered Eye Specialist, certifying acuity of vision and a absence of colour blindness, in original as per format available in website (Annexure-I) at the time of counselling.
Admission of PH candidates is subject to verification and approval of the central medical board.
