Age Limit & Educational Qualification: 
Applicant should attain at least 14 years of age as on 2023 are eligible. There is no upper age limit. 
Candidates must have Class VIII (8th) or Eight Passed from recognized School in located in West Bengal For 'E' Group Trade. 
Candidates must be passed Class Ten (10th)/ Madhyamik with Science & Mathematics from recognized University under West Bengal for 'M' Group Trade Course.
Candidates apply for Only E Group or M Group Trade course only, both group applied candidates applications will be rejected, Common Entrance Test Date will be on scheduled on same day.

Eligibility Criteria :

Candidates passed the requisite entry qualification from any school located within the State of West Bengal are eligible for admission in Govt. ITI/ ITCs/ JP. A candidate will be eligible for taking admission in any Govt. ITI as per the choice(s) provided by hgim/her from the list of Government ITI/ITC/Junior Polytechnic which will be available in the websites www.scvtwb.in.

Selection Procedure:
Selection of candidates for E Group & M Group Trade will be based on a Common Entrance Test (CET). Two hours MCQ based CET for both groups will be held on  2023 at 12 noon. Separate questions papers will be set for each groups.The subject of Common Entrance Test (CET 2023) for M & E Group, will be Science, Mathematics, English & General Awareness upto Madhyamik or equivalent standard.

Procedure for Application:
Online Application Procedure -

1. West Bengal ITI Admission Online Application Form are available on www.scvtwb.in
2. Download & Followed the Online Application Process & Information Brochure carefully.
3. After successful application, take a Print out Copy & Payment Slip.
4. Submitted the Application Form Application Fees at any nearby form selling centers along with Application Fee (in Cash Deposit Slip). Last Date for submission of filled up form along with the applications fee .

Offline Application Procedure-
Blank OMR Application Form & Information Brochure are collect from all Government ITIs, Government ITIs operated under PPP mode, Government Polytechnics, Government sponsored and Self financed Polytechnics and VTCs after paying Application Fees (in Cash Deposit Slip). Filled up application form are to be submitted at any of the form selling centres. Applications forms are to be submitted in person only. Forms sent through any other mode / place would be treated as cancelled. Any manual error in OMR application form will be treated as cancelled. Tentative last date for submission of filled in application form will be on 2023. 

Age Limit :
Applicants should attain at least 14 years of age as on 2023, i.e. born before 01.08.2005. There is no upper age limit.

Application Fee:

Application Fee for Kanyashree Enrollers is Rs.175 (for Offline Form) / Rs.165 (for Online Application Form) for Both E & M Group group Trade. Application Fees is paid through cash deposit slip in Help-desk centre. applicants need to produce a supporting documents during collection as well as submission of filled in application form.
Application Fees for All Others Candidates is Rs.350 (for Offline Form) / Rs.330 (for Online Application Form) for Both E & M Group Trade. Application fees is paid through cash deposit slip in Help desk centre.

Admission Fee :
ITIs/ ITCs/ JP - Rs. 3075/-

Documents Required, At The Time of Admission & Counseling (E-Group) (Original and Self attested copy) :

• 1. Self attested photo copy of final mark sheet of class VIII.
• 2. Self attested photo copy of certificates for SC/ ST/ PH (if any). A candidate should have certificate in his/ her own name only for availing admission under any reserved seat (SC/ ST/ PH).
• 3. Self attested copy of Kanyashree enrollee certificate/document.
• 4. Two coloured passport size recent photograph (To be retained by the ITI).
• 5. Self attested copy of Vocational pass certificate (if any).

Documents Required, At The Time of Admission & Counseling (M-Group) (Original and Self attested copy) :

• 1. Self attested photo copy of Admit Card of Madhyamik or equivalent examination as proof of age.
• 2. Self attested photo copy of Mark sheet of Madhyamik or equivalent examination.
• 3. Self attested photo copy of Certificate of Madhyamik or equivalent examination.
• 4. Self attested photo copy of certificates SC/ ST/ PH certificate (if any). A candidate should have certificate in his/her name only for availing admission under any reserved seat (SC/ ST/ PH).
• 5. Self attested copy of Kanyashree enrollee certificate/document.
• 6. Two coloured passport size  recent photograph (to be retained by the ITI).
• 7. Self attested copy of Vocational pass certificate (if any).

• Admit Card for Common Entrance Test issued from -  2023.
