Sir Rashbehari Ghosh Mahavidyalaya Admission 2023:  Online Application for Admission to B.A (Honours & General) Degree Course in the academic session 2023 through online www.srgm.org.in. Students who have passed H.S or its equivalent examination(10+2) from WBCHSE or from any other equivalent  board  in  2023 are eligible to apply. Sir Rashbehari Ghosh Mahavidyalaya: 

Sir Rashbehari Ghosh Mahavidyalaya is a relatively new educational institution, which is located at ukhrid, Khandaghosh, some 20 kms away from the main town of Burdwan. it was out of the ardent and dedicated zeal of the educationists in the region and also necessity of higher educational institution for the local and surrounding people, that the college was established in the year 2023. The College campus is spread over 17 bighas of green landscape.

Eligibility Criteria: 

For Honours Course - 
Minimum marks 45% in the aggregate of best 5 subjects in (10+2) class excluding Environment Science.
For General Course - 
Minimum pass percentage (30%) in the aggregate of best 5 subjects in (10+2) class excluding Environment Science.

B.A Honours :
Bengali (Honours): 31 seats (UR-18, SC-7, ST-2, OBC A-2, OBC B-2)
English(Honours): 42 seats (UR-25, SC-9,ST-3, OBC A-2, OBC B-2)
History(Honours) :42 seats (UR-25, SC-9, ST-3, OBC A-2,OBC B-2).
Political Science(Honours): 31 seats (UR-18, SC-7, ST-2, OBC A-2, OBC B-2).
Sanskrit(Honours): 31 seats (UR-18, SC-7, ST-2, OBC A-2, OBC B-2).
Philosopy (Honours): 25 seats (UR-18, SC-3, ST- 2, OBC A-1, OBC B-1).
B.A General : 197 seats (UR-118, SC-43, ST-12, OBC A-14, OBC B-10).

Seat Reservation: 

Reservation of seats for SC, ST, OBC A, OBC B and physically Challenged candidates will be accordance to the existing rules of the Government of West Bengal. All certificate from the competent authority must be produced during counselling for claiming such reservation. No application will be allowed to take advantage of more than one quota of reservation. Candidates Cast & Category certificate  issued by the states other than West Bengal will be treated as General category for Admission.

Application fee:

The application will be considered invalid without payment of application fee (Including Bank Transaction Charge) to the Bank of Account of College either Online (through Debit & Credit card) or Offline Bank Challan.
For General Course : Rs. 100/-
For Honours Course: Rs. 50/- (For Each Application in Honours Subject Separate Registration is required)

Admission Fee :
B.A. Honours - Rs. 2,500.00/-
B.A. General - Rs. 2,250.00/-

Online Payment Guidelines :
1. On selecting the option 'Pay Now', the applicant will be directed to the page where the 'Disclaimer Claudse' for Payment Gateway is given. Click the Check-box and 'proceed'.
2. On the next page, select 'West Bengal' as 'State of Corporate/Institution', and 'Education Institutions' as 'Type of Corporate/Institution'. Press 'GO' for the next page.
3. Select 'Sri Rashbehari Ghosh Mahavidyalaya' as 'Educational Institutions Name' and 'Submit'.
4. Select 'APPLICATION FEES' under 'Payment Category' and the applicant will be directed in a new page for inserting personal details.
5. The applicant has to fill up carefully his/her 'NAME','APPLICATION NO','MOBILE NO','DATE OF BIRTH'. The college will not take any responsibility for mistakes in personal data input. Enter the text as shown in the image. The applicant may reset the data if required. Click 'Submit' to proceed. The applicant will be asked for confirmation of the personal data. Click 'Confirm' if the data are correct . 'Cancel' otherwise and follow the steps again.
6. The applicant is now directed to Multi Option Payment System. For online payment, the applicant can choose either Net Banking or Card payment option. Note the transaction id for future reference.

Merit List:

The Merit List of valid applicants will be published online website of college on date as per the published admission scheduled, the Merit List will be prepared in the descending order of merit index. In Case of a tie, precedence will be given to higher subject marks, wherever applicable.

Important Documents Required For Admission:
During the counselling for Admission Student Must bring the following Documents,
1.Result Of  H.S & M.P Examination.
2.Admit card of Secondary Examination .
3.Downloaded Application Form.
4.Application Fee Payment Challan.
5.School Leaving Certificate.
6.Caste Certificate(if required).
